Learn How to Become a Catholic Charities Volunteer on "Faith Alive"

Catholic Charities hour-long "Faith Alive" program airs weekly on Annunciation Radio on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and is re-broadcast at 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Listen to programs on demand.

Do your New Year resolutions include giving of your time and talents? Tune in for our "Faith Alive" program, Tuesday at 4 p.m. on Annunciation Radio of Northwest Ohio to learn how you make a difference through Catholic Charities ministries.

Host Rodney Schuster, Executive Director of Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo, discusses becoming a Catholic Charities Volunteer with Volunteer Coordinator Byron Wynn. Regional volunteer opportunities throughout the 19-county Diocese of Toledo will be discussed, as well as the steps needed to become a volunteer.

Lucia Cousino, a volunteer who writes thank you cards, helps with data entry, and works in the clothing center at Helping Hands of St. Louis, shares how much she enjoys helping and spending time with the other volunteers that she calls her "volunteer family."

The hour-long program airs weekly on Annunciation Radio: Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and is re-broadcast at 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
