Give In Honor Of or In Memory Of Someone
When you make a gift to Catholic Charities, you may choose to make your donation "In Honor Of" a person or group whose work, service or accomplishments inspires you. Or you may choose to make your gift "In Memory Of" someone who passed away and lives on in your memory. You can download and view the current lists of donations made In Honor Of and In Memory Of (A-I) and (J-Z) through December 31, 2022.
Good Samaritan Society
Your financial gift can be set up as an automatic monthly payment directly with Catholic Charities. Contact Elizabeth Sawyer at 419-214-4909 if you have questions or need assistance. When you make a monthly gift to Catholic Charities, you become a member of our Good Samaritan Society!
Planned Giving
Please consider making a legacy gift to Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo through planned giving and discover the benefits. Gifts may be received through a bequest of a will, an IRA or 401K, life insurance policy, appreciated securities, an investment portfolio, or a charitable gift annuity.

In-Kind Donations
Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo relies greatly on the generosity of the individuals in the communities we serve to continue addressing current and long-term needs across Northwest and West Central Ohio.
Check out some of the current in-kind donation items we need for our Erie County Furniture Ministry in Sandusky, our Helping Hands of St. Louis ministry in Toledo, and Miriam House, our transitional shelter for homeless women and their children in Norwalk. Thank you!

Donate a Car
Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo is partnering with CARS to transform your trade-in car into a donation to help thousands of men, women, and children in Northwest Ohio.
How does it work? Donating your car is easy! Call 844-531-GIVE or 844-531-4483 or donate securely online. CARS will pick up your vehicle and send you all of the paperwork after your vehicle is sold.
CARS is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) assisting nonprofit organizations across the country in accepting vehicle donations as a revenue stream. The CARS web-based vehicle donation program provides the ability to accept vehicle donations without having to manage the program in-house. The CARS program provides the transparency nonprofit organizations require and the security the organization and donors demand.
United Way Designation
As you fill out your United Way donation form this fall, please consider donating to Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo.
Donation forms and designation opportunities vary by county and by company. However, all forms have a write-in option where you can designate an organization to be the recipient of your United Way donations. Please write in Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo in the space designated on the bottom of the form for the agency name.
