Furniture Ministry
- Furniture Ministry Pick Up/Delivery:Our Furniture Ministry is volunteer-based and supported by furniture donations from the community. Items need to be picked up from donors and brought to the storage unit. Must be ambulatory and able to bend, stretch and lift 50 lbs.
- Furniture Ministry Inventory Management: Includes recording items as they are donated/distributed, cleaning/sorting donated items and maintaining the storage unit.
Instructor, Financial Literacy Workshops: Includes basic household and financial management techniques as well as useful information regarding the resources available throughout the community. For the Workshop we are seeking individuals to assist our instructor with preparations for the class and to help out during the Workshop sessions.
Office Support: Assist with greeting visitors, answering the telephone, filing, copying, mailings, and data entry utilizing Word, Excel, as well as basic clerical duties in the office.
Volunteer Guardian: Advocate for individuals 55 and older who are not able to do so for themselves. Medical, social service, or other non-profit experience is helpful.
