Please Support Catholic Charities Ministries as Housing Needs Climb

This week on "Faith Alive!" This week on Annunciation Radio Host Rodney Schuster, Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo's Executive Director welcomes Jennifer Lippus, Development Director, who discusses the importance of supporting Catholic Charities ministries now through Nov. 28 #GivingTuesday. When you make a #GivingTuesday donation to support our ministries a generous Catholic Charities donor has pledged $20,000 to match your donation dollar for dollar!

You can make your #GivingTuesday donation online or mail your check to Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo, 1933 Spielbusch Ave., Toledo, OH 43604. Thank you for your generosity!

Laurie Hamrick, Community Emergency Services Case Manager at Catholic Charities Richland County, shares how the need for housing is at an all time high for the homeless and rent assistance funds are desperately needed to prevent people from becoming homeless. Your financial support will make a difference in the lives of those in need of assistance.

In the final segment, William O'Neill, S.J., Ph.D. is Professor Emeritus of Social Ethics at the Jesuit School of Theology. He is currently serving with the Jesuit Refugee Service - JRS in Kenya, principally in the Kakuma refugee camp in northwestern Kenya and teaching several courses addressing forced migration at our Jesuit University in Nairobi.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo’s hour-long program airs weekly on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and Saturdays at 3 p.m. You can listen to "Faith Alive" programs on Annunciation Radio's mobile app or the website
