Helping Hands of St. Louis

Helping Hands of St. Louis, a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Toledo, is located at 443 Sixth St., Toledo, Ohio, serves low-income and homeless families and individuals. The Outreach Center includes a Soup Kitchen, Food Pantry and Clothing Center. Additional services include providing hygiene packs to families and hot showers and hygiene and meal kits to the homeless. 16th Annual Helping Hands of St. Louis Winter Coat Fest A Great Success!

TOLEDO— Helping Hands of St. Louis Clothing Center continues to collect winter clothing items even though th Annual Winter Coat Fest on Saturday, Oct. 18, was a great success!

“This year we provided nearly 500 winter coats to men, women and children, along with hats, gloves and winter boots,” says Sue Shrewsbery, Director of Helping Hands of St. Louis. "But the need for winter clothing will continue for another four to five months as the temperatures drop and winter is upon us!"

Children’s coats, men’s and women’s winter coats, especially XL and plus-sized, gently used winter boots, especially men's sizes 10 and up, warm men’s socks, and warm gloves and warm hats for men, women and children are alwys needed. These items may be dropped off at Helping Hands of St. Louis Clothing Center, 443 Sixth St., Toledo, OH, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays - Fridays. Thank You!
