Oregon Meijer Simply Give! Campaign Benefits Helping Hands of St. Louis Food Ministries

Oregon Meijer's Holiday Simply Give! Campaign runs through Sat., Dec. 30, 2023 benefiting Helping Hands of St. Louis!

OREGON, OH—the Oregon Meijer's Simply Give! Campaign runs through Sat., Sept. 28, 2024, benefitting Helping Hands of St. Louis. Every $10 Simply Give! donation card you purchase at the Oregon Meijer, located at 1725 S. Wheeling Street, Oregon, OH, is converted into Meijer food-only gift cards the Helping Hands Food Pantry and hot-meal programs can use to purchase needed items! Meijer customers shopping online using Meijer pickup or home delivery can also purchase Simply Give donation cards as an add-on to their orders.

“Please help us fulfill Meijer's Simply Give mission of helping feed the hungry people who come to us for a meal by purchasing a food donation card during your next shopping trip to the Oregon Mejier,” says Susan Shrewsbery, Director of Helping Hands of St. Louis. “Tell your family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers, because every dollar makes a difference!”

Martk your calendars for a DOUBLE MATCH DAY on Saturday, Sept. 14. Meijer will double match each $10 donation, making your gift in actuality $30 of food buying power for Helping Hands of St. Louis.

A HUGE thank you to Meijer and all who support this program! Since the program began in November 2008, more than $84 million has been generated for food pantries in the Midwest to distribute to its neighbors in need!

“The Simply Give program is a way for Meijer customers to partner with us and support the food banks and pantries that feed families in need in their own communities,” said Cathy Cooper, Senior Director of Community Partnerships and Giving for Meijer. “We certainly couldn’t do it without the support and commitment of our generous customers and team members, who stand beside us in this effort.”

Every penny goes towards food purchases for our Helping Hands of St. Louis Pantry and hot-meal programs, where hundreds of men, women and children are served on any given day with food, groceries, hygiene products, clothing and household items.
