Helping Hands of St. Louis Needs Food, Donations and Volunteers!

Helping Hands of St. Louis is seeing increases in all of its programs and a decrease in donations. Catholic Charities one-stop shop in Toledo for freshly prepared meals, choice groceries, and homeless meal and hygiene kits needs food and financial donations and volunteers with helping hands!

“We’re seeing a 50% cut from what we used to get from food banks, easily 50%," says Sue Shrewsbery, Director of Helping Hands of St. Louis. "It’s a huge hit. We used to get milk, cheese, butter. We don’t get any of that anymore. For us to offer those items, we have to find someone to donate them because we don’t have funds in our budget."
