Noelle Mering is a fellow at the Ethics & Public Policy Center, a Washington, D.C. think tank working to apply the riches of the Jewish and Christian traditions to contemporary questions of law, culture, and politics, in pursuit of America’s continued civic and cultural renewal.

She is co-author of the "Theology of Home" book series and is an editor for TheologyofHome.com. Noelle earned a master’s degree in philosophy from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and is a wife and a mother of six children in California.

In the tumult of the last few years, many relationships have been fractured and strained as the realm of politics extends more and more into every corner of society and into the interior life of citizens.

In her talk, "Understanding the Manipulation Behind the Woke Movement," Noelle will give a framework for understanding the "woke" movement on a fundamental level, as well as detail the stages of manipulation it employs laundering moral authority from Christianity and operating parasitically on Christian life. She contends we must understand what the woke movement is and how it operates in order to counter and defeat it.
