Sheltering the Homeless

La Posada Family Emergency Shelter

This Week's "Faith Alive" How You Can Support Catholic Charities Ministries

This week on "Faith Alive!" Annunciation Radio Host Rodney Schuster, Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo's Executive Director, welcomes Jen Lippus, Catholic Charities Development Director. They discuss the top critical needs for several of our ministries right now.

Both our La Posada Family Emergency Shelter and Miriam House, our transitional shelter for homeless women and their children, are full. Helping Hands of St. Louis is feeding record high numbers of individuals daily in our dining room and through our Food Pantry. All are in need of replenishing their food inventories through in-kind donations or financial support https://catholiccharitiesnwo.org/how-to-help/donate.html

In the final segment Deacon Bill Scholl, Lead Consultant for Social Justice for the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, shares how we can find peace this Christmas through Solidarity with the Holy Family.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo’s hour-long program airs weekly on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. and Saturdays at 3 p.m. You can listen to "Faith Alive" programs on Annunciation Radio's mobile app or the website https://www.annunciationradio.com/faith-alive
