Friends for Life:

I am sure by now many of you have seen it. A Planned Parenthood executive talking about the selling of aborted baby body parts. Of course, Planned Parenthood denies this is the case, but even if it’s not, shouldn’t the doctor’s description of the ‘crushing’ of certain parts of the baby’s body be disturbing enough? Read more here as the doctors words are undeniably awful: http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/15/health/planned-parenthood-undercover-video/.

Under “Current News” below, please consider taking action against the nation’s leading abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.

Closer to home, Capital Care has changed their days of operation. They are open this following week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Please consider joining us on your lunch hour this coming Thursday, July 23rd from 12-1 pm for an Hour of Prayer! (1160 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo Ohio).

Current News

a. ACTION ITEM 1 -Please take a moment and share this video on your social media feed or through whatever venue you can. By showing the real nature of abortion, you can help to save and change lives: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=54&v=jjxwVuozMnU

c. ACTION ITEM 3 – Sign this petition: http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/request-that-congress-take-immediate-action-to-stop-all-taxpayer-funding-of-planned-parenthood.html
d. ACTION ITEM 4 – Request that Congress take immediate action to stop all taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood and end the bankrolling of this horrific human rights abuser and launch an investigation into this brutal exploitation of the unborn victims of abortion. Contact your Senator: www.senate.gov and Representative: www.house.gov.

2. Fighting for Marriage: Friday, June 26th, the Supreme Court of the United States redefined the definition of marriage. This is a ‘life’ issue because it involves what is best for children. We believe what is best for children is for each child to have a mom and a dad. In fact, we believe that is a child’s right. But in places like Maryland, Illinois and San Francisco Catholic Adoption agencies have been forced to shut down simply because they believe every child deserves a mother and a father. They’ve thus lost their licenses since they will not adopt children to same-sex couples. Can same sex couples love a child? Absolutely, but the love of two men or two women will never replace the complementary gifts and love of a mother and a father. I invite you to visit: http://www.marriageuniqueforareason.org/ to learn more. Also, in an effort locally to persuade our elected representatives I, with the help of a few protestant brothers in the faith, drafted a letter that we are presenting to our local officials. To date, we have 525 signatures. If you would like your name to be included simply send your name and city of residence in an email to me and I’ll be sure to add your name. Please read the letter, attached.
