  people from becoming homeless.\n\nOur La Posada Family Emergency Shelter 
 is full. Miriam House\, our transitional shelter for homeless women and ch
 ildren\, is full. A record 4\,884 hot\, freshly prepared meals were served
  last month at Helping Hands of St. Louis\, with nearly 300 hot meals bein
 g served daily.  \n\nIn the past three months\, the number of individuals 
 choosing groceries from Helping Hands Food Pantry is up 41 percent and the
  number selecting clothing and household items from Helping Hands Clothing
  Center are at record highs!\n\nThe need for your financial support  has n
