Catholic Charities Hosts "Poverty in Workplace" Seminar Nov. 13

MANSFIELD, OH—Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo is hosting “The Effects of Poverty in the Workplace” seminar for employers to learn how to prevent the influences of poverty from affecting productivity in the workplace.

The seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, November 13 from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the James W. Kehoe Center Auditorium, 175 Mansfield Ave., Shelby, OH. Doors open at 8 a.m. SEATING IS LIMITED. Registration Required by November 5, along with a $20 registration fee.

The Effects of Poverty in the Workplace seminar will help employers understand how poverty affects people, how workplace practices influence poverty, and offer strategies to more effectively engage your employees to prevent poverty.

Brian Rome, Program Coordinator for Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Toledo’s Family Support and Guidance Ministry, will facilitate the seminar.

Brian has over 30 years of experience in social services and provides financial literacy, self-empowerment and emergency prevention/intervention education opportunities to both the disadvantaged and professionals in the 19-county Diocese of Toledo. Brian is a trained HUD Housing Counselor, Bridges Out of Poverty Trainer and Ministry Leader.
