Oct. 23 "Make A Difference Day" Food Drive A Success!

MANSFIELD, OH—Catholic Charities HOPE Pantry once again participated in the 15th Annual “Make a Difference Day Food Drive” Friday, October 23. People dropped off cash, checks, canned goods and non-perishable food items all day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Catholic Charities HOPE Pantry located at 523 Park Avenue East, Mansfield #ThankYou! #LivingtheGospel #FeedingtheHungry #Matthew25 #GodBless

“We hope people of Richland County will make this the biggest food drive in one day, in an effort to help families make it through to Thanksgiving,” says organizer Doc Stumbo, who said it never ceases to surprise him just how generous people are throughout Richland County. He collaborated with retired Mansfield News Journal Editor Tom Brennan to get Make a Difference Day off the ground 15 years ago.

Over $4,000 was raised and will be divided between Catholic Charities HOPE Food Pantry and Harmony House in Mansfield. Many thanks to all the individuals and groups that donated funds, food, and volunteered, as well as the many sponsors who make this community event possible each year! #GodBless #Together #WeAretheChristsHandsandHeartIntheWorld
