Diocesan Jail & Prison Ministry Gathers in Findlay - May 4

FINDLAY, OH— On Saturday, May 4, Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo is hosting a Diocesan Jail & Prison Ministry Gathering at St. Michael the Archangel’s Auditorium, 750 Bright Road, Findlay, OH. This event is open to anyone currently involved with or interested in volunteering for this Catholic Charities ministry.

The event runs from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $25 and includes morning refreshments and lunch.

Keynote speaker Alan Starr, a National Alpha Prison Advisor since 2005, will share his commitment and experiences, and the process, outcomes and benefits of bringing God to inmates through the Alpha program. Two ex-inmates will give witness talks on life in prison and reintegrating into society.

Best practices from each of the Northwest and West Central Ohio Jail & Prison ministry facilities and volunteer recruitment will also be discussed.
