Online Donations

Catholic Charities is pleased to offer the convenience of making your monetary donation online using the safety and security of PayPal. paypal

Used in 38 countries by more than 40 million account holders, PayPal continues to be the global leader for online payments for Web sites like eBay and other online retailers, as well as a secure way to transfer money to friends or relatives.

As easy to use as filling out a simple online form, you can donate with confidence using your credit card or PayPal account. Your information remains completely confidential, and you incur no additional fees for using this service.

Meijer Rewards

Catholic Charities is a participant in the Meijer Community Rewards Program.

As a program participant, Catholic Charities is eligible to receive up to 1% of purchases you make at any Meijer store.For example, if your monthly purchases at Meijer total $635.00 Catholic Charities would receive up to 1% ($6.35) if you used a Meijer credit card to make your purchase. If you pay with cash or a debit card and have a Meijer 1 card linked to our account then we would receive .5% which would total $3.18.

If you already have a Meijer credit card or Meijer 1 card just call 1-800-962-7011 and ask them to link your card to our code # which is 508480.

This is a great way to support Catholic Charities while simply making your regular household purchases at your local Meijer store!

Goodwill Auto Donation

Donate your vehicle for sale to Goodwill and designate Catholic Charities – 75% of the car’s sale price will be given to Catholic Charities.

Help those individuals and families who are in need in the aftermath of the recent tornadoes that struck four counties in Northwest Ohio the weekend of June 5 and 6. Your kindness and generosity can make a difference in bringing hope and help to the lives of those affected.

LaPosada Family Emergency Shelter (Toledo) offers temporary housing to homeless families and Spanish speaking individuals and families. Miriam House Transitional Housing (Norwalk)provides transitional living for up to 2 years for homeless women and their minor children.

Programs include Community Emergency Services (Mansfield) to teach essential life skills; Family Emergency Guidance (Toledo) to help with financial management; and Lead Paint Education (Toledo) about the dangers of lead paint and appropriate solutions.

(Erie, Huron, Richland Counties)
Guardianship services assist adults 55 and older who are deemed incompetent by the court and who have no family support available.

Services include home studies, education and post-adoption support for couples wanting to adopt and for families who have adopted.

Services help birth parents struggling with an unplanned pregnancy make responsible decisions for their child, including skills to help future mothers and fathers care for their newborn babies.

Initiative addresses the issues of chronic absenteeism and truancy and the underlying causes by providing “wrap around” services helping families minimize their daily struggles and enabling them to focus more on their children’s academic needs.

Programs include Family Life/Marriage programs for marriage preparation and enrichment and Natural Family Planning; Respect Life programs; Project Rachael for post-abortion support; Bereavement Ministry programs; Elder Ministry support; plus, Jail and Prison Ministry.

Services include Catholic Social Teaching workshops and presentations; Parish Social Concerns committee training; legislative awareness; and human rights protection.

Services available include Pastoral Outreach and advocacy/education on rural, agricultural and environmental justice issues; Rural Life Day and Century Farm Awards to publicly acknowledge the contributions of the farming and rural communities to the diocese; and Project Farm Hands, which unites rural and urban communities in an effort to feed the hungry.
