Kroger Community Rewards Program

Thank you to everyone who supported Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo in the past year through the Kroger Community Rewards program!

If you are currently enrolled in this program, please remember that you must re-enroll in the program this month to continue to support our organization.

If you have not already re-enrolled, please visit www.krogercommunityrewards.com, click on “Ohio”, and then click on the “re-enroll” link (in the middle area of the page). Catholic Charities DOT account number is 84689.

If you are new to the program, it’s not too late to join!

1 – Go to www.krogercommunityrewards.com, and click on “SIGN UP TODAY” in the “New Customer?” box.
2 – Sign up for a Kroger Rewards Account by entering zip code, clicking on favorite store, entering your email address and creating a password.
3 – You will then receive a message to check your email and click on the link in the text of your email message.
4 – Click on My Account and use your email address and password to proceed to the next step.
5 – Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information and enter your Kroger Plus card number.
6 – Enter the NPO number (84689) or organization name, select organization from list and click to confirm.

Meijer Community Rewards Program

As participant in the Meijer Community Rewards program, Catholic Charities is eligible to receive up to 1% of purchases you make at any Meijer store. For example, if your monthly purchases at Meijer total $500, Catholic Charities would receive up to 1% ($5.00) if you used a Meijer credit card to make your purchase. If you pay with cash or a debit card and have a Meijer 1 card linked to our account, then we would receive 0.5%, which would total $2.50.

If you already have a Meijer credit card or Meijer 1 card, just call 1-800-962-7011 and ask them to link your card to our code number which is 508480.

To apply for a Meijer credit card or Meijer 1 card, you can visit the customer service center at any Meijer store or apply online at www.meijer.com/creditcard for the credit card or visit www.meijer.com/rewards for a Meijer 1 card. Be sure to link your card to Catholic Charities using the code 508480.

Nurturing Families

Toledo couple grateful birth mothers chose life.

Like most parents, John and Amy Schnorberger, of Sylvania, are grateful to God for the gift of her children. But their gratitude is also directed toward specific human beings – the birth mothers of Katy, 7, and Drew, 5.

“To us, these birth families are heroes. They did what was best for the children, and not necessarily what was easiest for them at the time.

“At our house on Mother’s Day, these women are very much honored. It means so much when they tell us, ‘Every time we see you with these kids, we know we did what was best for them.’

“And we’re grateful to Catholic Charities for helping us become the family we are.”
