Catholic Conference of Ohio commends Chief  Justice O'Connor for establising a task force to study Ohio's Death Penalty.  The Catholic Bishops of Ohio consistenty have advocated for an end to the death penalty. Read More!



Catholic Charities oversees the diocesan efforts to provide jail and prison ministry in various settings.  Jail and Prison Ministry provides ongoing activities/events that raise the level of awareness by offering opportunities to become involved and offers annual gatherings to affirm and inform current volunteers.
In more recent years a growing awareness has developed regarding the needs of victims and their families, families of the incarcerated, re-entry, death penalty and advocacy issues.
